"SENYE" - a musical commission from the afterlife "the other side".

As if her songs were chasing me, one night after the other I kept listening to different songs by the late Ewe Singer-Songwriter Bella Bellow in my deepest dream state. While awake I kept asking myself and my spirit team what all this is supposed to mean and why I couldn't get any rest from these wonderful songs by Grand Dame Bella Bellow. My spirit team answered the following:
"Bring back her songs into contemporary sound but make it your own."

So probably the first song of this order came to live. "Senye" is based on her Song "O senye". If Bella Bellow was still alive today I would have ask her, what her version of the song means to her. To me, the song tells about a desperate love on a multidimensional level. The love and cry for help to our higher selves but also the love between human beings. Like when you lose your first great love, your first soulmate and the pain and despair that comes with it.

With the help of Beat Producer YOURZ and the unique dancer, rapper and multi talent Flockey Ocscor as my featuring artist, who enriches "Senye" with his own story of love and loss, I could bring this special assignment to our time.The visuals for the song were created together with my favorite video and photographer Sarah Ann and with the wonderful dancer and actor Emmanuel Edoror. Without the special support in the production and implementation of also actress and producer Palesa Moloto, we would not have been able to finish shooting the visuals for "Senye" during those special times.
